What Duch keeps, what it doesn't, and who sees it.
What we store
Your profile (name, place of shlichus, timezone), your entries and the transcripts they came from, the names of people you mention, your goals, and the duchs you generate. Everything is stored in a secured database where each account can only ever read its own rows.
Voice notes
When you record, the audio is sent to a transcription service to be turned into text, and the text is what gets saved. The audio itself is not kept after processing.
AI processing
Transcripts are processed by AI providers (currently OpenAI; optionally Anthropic) through their business APIs to sort your words into entries. Under those APIs' terms, your content is not used to train their models.
Your duch
A duch leaves the app only when you send it — by printing, copying, or emailing it yourself. Nothing is sent on your behalf automatically.
What we don't do
No ads, no selling or sharing of data, no third-party trackers. Duch is a free, sponsor-supported tool for shluchim — your information is used only to make your duch.
Deleting your data
You can edit or delete any entry, duch, or goal in the app at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email admin@duch.siqoi.com and it will be removed.
Duch is in an invite-only pilot. This page will grow as the app does; material changes will be announced in the app.
